Mini HaHa Triathlon
Broomfield's Triathlon on June 14 is the perfect first triathlon of the season! Swim 300 yards, Bike 11 miles and run 2 miles to the finish! Registration is going on now. See Broomfield.org/MiniHaHa for more info and to register .

Citizen Survey
The 2015 Broomfield Citizen Survey was mailed out to 3,000 randomly selected households. If you received one in the mail, please fill it out. If not, give us your feedback by filling out the online survey .
 

Broomfield 100 Challenge

Explore up to 100 miles of Broomfield trails this summer! Use a Broomfield 100 Passport to check off conquests, spot native wildlife and learn more about Broomfield's top trails. The challenge begins June 6 and runs through September 19. Learn more at Broomfield.org/Broomfield100

Wednesdays on the Waterfront

This is a free summer concert series every Wednesday at  7 p.m. beginning June 24 through the summer. Concerts are held outdoors at the Broomfield Amphitheater. View list of performances.
 

The Great American Picnic 
Saturday, July 4 at the Broomfield County Commons Park!  The

15th Annual Meals on Wheels Basket Auction
Saturday, July 11 at 2 p.m.  Enjoy entertainment, delicious BBQ and appetizers while you view and bid on the beautiful array of baskets to benefit Meals on Wheels . Read more

B Healthy - Cooking Classes

Join our B Healthy summer of events! The library is featuring a "Gluten Free Life" cooking class June 9 and a "Going Paleo" class July 9. Learn more about all of our B Healthy events and programs at Broomfield.org/BHealthy.


Workplace Wellness 
Partnering with Cigna Healthcare Provider and the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center's State of Slim program, 20 Broomfield employees began a 16 week course to learn how to lose weight and maintain weight loss by instilling a positive mindset, good eating habits and exercise routines. Check out their progress. 

Kids Fishing Derby
City and County of Broomfield, the Broomfield Open Space Foundation (BOSF), and Colorado Parks and Wildlife hosted 110 children at the 2015 Kids Fishing Derby on May 2 at Tom Frost Reservoir.  The weather was perfect and the fish were jumping! View photos from the event.

Spring CleanUp 2015
A total of 4,354 curbside pickups were made to collect 634 tons of waste. Over 45 tons of waste was recycled including 13 tons of wood, 7 tons of branches, and 25 tons of metal. View  video.
