This year we have not received any instruction booklets to hand out. Only the forms, and fewer of those than we have gotten from the IRS in the past. You can call the IRS at 800-829-3676 or go online to request that the forms and/or instructions be mailed to your home if you desire. We do have a few copies of the instruction booklets to either use in the library, or borrow with your library card for 3 weeks. AARP Tax preparation help is available on Tues, Thurs, and Saturday mornings until April 15th. Call 2-1-1 (like dialing 9-1-1 or 4-1-1) to make an appointment for help.

We are hoping for a little speed boost to our checkout transactions in the form of a new, more powerful server running our software. Keep your fingers crossed! Also, remember that in general, the self-checkout station works much faster for borrowing everything but DVDs.
