Dear VSA Membership,

First of all welcome to our new bi-weekly newsletter. I want to thank everyone who has been part of getting this together and we're excited for the release today.

The newsletter is a way for you to find out what we are doing at the club on a day to day basis along with the exciting things we have going on in the community.

My personal favorite part is the section that will be dedicated to our players. At the end of the day we are all part of the club for the development of our children and we look forward to showcasing them in this newsletter.

Finally, I would like to thank the whole club for the wonderful support you have given us during this time of transition and change. The future is bright and the future is VSA!

Thank you,

Matt Lacey

Weekly awards - March 16th 2015
Team of the Week

"The boys played outstanding all weekend, especially considering these were their first games for the spring season and we added some new faces," said Assistant Technical Director, Dale Parker. "The most pleasing thing for me was that the boys took what they learned in practice last week and executed it with visible success over the weekend, Coach James and I were very proud of this group."

Player of the Week

"I was fortunate enough to coach a talented set of girls at the Jefferson Cup and I have to say I was immensely impressed with all of the U11 girls," said Technical Director, Matt Lacey. "Avery had an excellent weekend and was dominant throughout both games with her ability to control the game through the center of the field. She has good technique and good vision along with a quality work ethic, well done Avery"
Goal of the Week

"What a goal! As you can see in the video, the technique Bridie uses to strike the ball is text book and it is a goal she will remember for a long time," said Lacey. "The build-up play from Izzy made it the #1 goal of the weekend for all the technical staff, well done Bridie."
