 Thank You Direct Support Staff!

On behalf of the 700 adults and children supported by The Arc, I want to personally thank each of our direct support professionals for the important and critical work you do.  You are the ones that provide the necessary support that allow people with disabilities to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.  Without your care and dedication, their lives and future would be bleak.  I know a celebration week and some goodies are a small gesture for the big job you do. We are grateful for your ongoing commitment.  Have a great week and enjoy your treats!

Thank You!

Don

*Sept. 7th through Sept. 13th is Direct Support Appreciation Week

   A Special Blend

The Arc Carroll County, in partnership with Furnace Hill Coffee, has come up with three very special blends of coffee: The Arc Blends.

We are offering, through Furnace Hills, a dark roast, medium blend and a decaf coffee. Each blend was selected by individuals who attend our programs here at The Arc.

Each one-pound bag of coffee sells for $14 per pound. The proceeds are split between Furnace Hills and The Arc.

Furnace Hills is owned by the Baldwin family. Erin Baldwin, one of the owners, has Down syndrome. The specialty roaster in downtown Westminster also employs other people with disabilities, including some folks from The Arc.

The Arc will use the proceeds from the sale of the coffee for its Capital Campaign fund for the organization's upcoming building renovation.

If you would like to buy one of The Arc Blends, please call 410-848-4124 ext. 146 or www.furnacehillscoffee.com/
