Wednesdays on Berwyn between Clark & Ashland May 20-Sept 2 : 3pm-8pm Sept 9-Oct 14: 3pm-7pm |
Dear Andersonville Farmers Market Friend,
The market opened last week to less than perfect weather (unless you were a duck with a fur lined jacket). The intrepid souls who came out to shop found a bounty of fresh produce, prepared food, and baked goods. We're here rain or shine, so come do your shopping al fresco this week!
This Wednesday we have two new rotating vendors (read on for more details), two old folk music favorites (ditto), and lots of delicious food. Come shop and enjoy the market!
Yours (still savoring the memory of last week's morel mushrooms, my favorite market purchase),
Joan

Credit/Debit & LINK at the market
|
|
Market tokens-easy to use, no expiration date! Not enough cash for your market purchases? Our token system is fast and easy and saves you a (sometimes costly) trip to the nearest ATM. Keep in mind that the tokens you purchase can be Tokens don't expire, so you can use them throughout the whole season and at the winter farmers market too.
They also make great gifts!
Here's how it works:
Credit/Debit tokens are GREEN and can be used the same as cash at the market. Credit/debit tokens are worth $5 (there is a convenience fee of 25 cents per token to cover our processing costs) and change can be given by vendors for these tokens. LINK tokens are BLUE and can be used to purchase Link approved items at participating booths. LINK tokens are worth $1 (no processing fee) and vendors cannot give change for these tokens. BOTH tokens can be used at any time during the season. You don't have to spend them all at once. Stop by the chamber booth if you have any questions or want to purchase tokens!
Our LINK matching program is currently on hold, but we hope to match funds at some point during the 2015 market season. Please check back for future status updates.
