Save the Date - Hula for Moola, Sat March 28th!!

What Is "Hula for Moola"? It's our schools largest fundraiser of the year. The event consists of an online auction which ends prior to the event, then the silent/live auction and dinner party following. The online auction opens March, 5th and ends Thursday, March 19th at 10pm. Gala at Newport Harbor Yacht Club: enjoy a small silent auction, opportunity drawing, live auction, dinner and dancing! Fun way to meet other parents, teachers and staff. Tickets & Sponsorships: information coming soon! Auction Items: donate an item, or ask a business or a friend you know to donate something.  California State PTA is now offering the option to distribute digital membership cards to members instead of paper cards. For the 2014-15 membership year, Newport Elementary has decided to offer the new "e-cards". Please look out for an email with your digital cards attached. Members can then save the image of their personalized e-card to their smartphone or tablet device and carry it with them, just as they would a traditional paper card. Garden Club - Needs Your Help!

The Newport El Garden is coming together. Due to a grant from the Foundation, we were able to remove all of the existing dirt and ground cover, replacing it with all organic high-end soil. If you look closely, you will even see peas growing up the fence!
To get the kids planting, we need a few more supplies. If you are able to help, please click the link below and let us know. Or just drop the items off at the garden & text Darcy (949.500.2252).
