The National Electronics Museum is offering a Learn to Solder workshop on Saturday, February 28th during our Swap Fest. The workshop will include two hands-on soldering projects. The first project is a flickering LED firefly jar that will introduce the basics of soldering. The second project, a Simon Says game, will allow participant to fine-tune their skills through circuit board soldering. Participants will also learn about the various electronic components (ie: resistors, capacitors, etc) while they are soldering them to their circuit boards.
The workshop is open to participants aged 12 or older. Anyone 11 years or younger will be able to participate by teaming up with a parent or guardian. The workshop will run from 10am to 12pm at the National Electronics Museum. The cost for the workshop is $30 for an individual (or for a parent/child team). Space is limited and advanced registration is required
