FIRST WEEK REMINDER

HRWA Part of Academic Study conducted by U. of Louisville:  Members and Volunteers Needed to Complete Survey

Dear Members and Volunteers at Harpeth River Watershed Association,

Last weekend, we sent a message inviting you to participate in an online survey to understand the general types of watershed governance (i.e., decision making), legal, and participatory methods that you prefer, and why that might be the case.

First, we wish to thank those who have already participated! We appreciate your help and the time you spent to offer your perspective.

If you have not already participated in the survey, you can still do so. Please click the following link to get started.

Below is the original letter we sent that has more information if you missed it or haven't had time to read it through.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

-------

My name is Professor Daniel A. DeCaro, at the University of Louisville Center for Land Use and Environmental Responsibility. I'm contacting you about a research project I'm doing with Prof. Tony Arnold (director) to better understand the role that legal and public participation processes play in effective watershed governance and protection in the Harpeth River Watershed. Specifically, we would like to invite you to participate in an online survey about the general types of watershed governance (i.e., decision making), legal, and participatory methods that you prefer, and why that might be the case.

This particular survey is part of a larger research project, in which we are conducting background research on each watershed and interviews with key leaders and staff members at HRWA. Your perspective is important to us, and would we very much like to hear from each of you!

How can you participate?

If you are interested in participating, click on this link (or paste it into your browser) to open the survey:

We want to emphasize that the survey is confidential, and your participation is voluntary. We do not ask for your email address, mail address, or phone number in the survey, and your personal information will not be associated with your responses.

The survey takes about 30 to 45 minutes, but you can easily take breaks and start back where you left off if you need to do so.

Some additional information about the survey is included in the attached document, if you would like to take a look before getting started (this information is also at the beginning of the survey).

Thank you for your time! I look forward to hearing from you!
