8th Graders and their families
A reminder that Chad would like you to schedule a meeting to meet with you and your student to discuss our confirmation program details and objectives. We ask that you schedule this meeting prior to September 9th. Please email Chad what dates and time may work for you.
Lock-In
Please save the date of our 8th grade confirmation retreat/lock-in on Sept 12th from 8:00pm to 8:00am the following morning. We look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to see what God has planned for the upcoming year!

Take a leaf from the Faith Formation Tree!
We are in need of a few key supplies. If you are able to donate a few items, take a leaf off the tree in the Gathering Area and return it with the donated item by Sept. 8th. Your gracious donations help keep the Faith Formation programs alive and thriving! If you have any questions, please contact Darla Goble.
Faith Formation Volunteers!
Thanks to all who have offered to volunteer at teachers for Faith Formation this fall! We rely on parents and members of the congregation for this important ministry at our church! We are still trying to fill a couple of spots for our Faith Formation teaching team this fall. Please contact Darla if you are interested in the following volunteer positions:
- Sunday Club 56 girls co-teacher
- Sunday 4th Grade assistant
- People to help with Sunday Morning JAM
- Substitute teachers for Sundays and Wednesdays
Wednesday Workers Needed!
Our Wednesday worship will start up again on September 17, and we need YOU to make it happen! Here are a few of the needs we have, do they fit your gifts?
- Wednesday meal shopper (grocery shopping on Tuesday or Wednesday)
- Wednesday meal prep (menus provided) 3:30-6:00
- Wednesday meal clean-up (5:30-6:30)
- Wednesday worship set-up (flexible, but before 4:00 pm)
- Wednesday confirmation set-up (6:00-6:20)
- Wednesday worship musicians (4:00-6:00)

Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed!
We are so excited to start our 2014-15 program here at OSLC and with that we will need help. We are looking for people to help in many different capacities for this upcoming year such as adult volunteers for Jr. High and Sr. High Youth groups, confirmation small group leaders, those willing to provide a Sunday Night meal, event chaperones and much more!
