Call for Poster Abstracts
2015 Learning and Action Network Annual Event
Virtual, Multi-State Conference

The TMF Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization's multi-state, virtual conference invites health care providers from all settings of care to submit an abstract that showcases quality improvement interventions they have successfully implemented, and that other practices and facilities can implement, to improve quality of care.

Important Dates

March 15 - Deadline to submit abstract

March 27 - Notification of acceptance or rejection

April 23 - Deadline to submit high-resolution JPG or PDF file

April 29 - 30 - Virtual conference

 

Overview

Accepted posters will be housed in an online gallery to coincide with the 2015 Learning and Action Network Annual Event. The gallery will allow providers, stakeholders and community groups throughout the region to showcase and share successes, best practices and innovative ideas focused on improving health care quality. Presenters will have the option to include contact details with posters for follow-up questions and discussions with peers and others interested in quality improvement. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Cardiovascular health
  • Diabetes
  • Healthcare-associated infections
  • Medication safety
  • Patient-centered care
  • Physician Quality Reporting System
  • Readmissions
  • Value-based payment

Following the event, poster submissions will be available for viewing on the TMF Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization website, www.tmfqin.org.

 

Abstract

The abstract should fit on one 8.5- x 11-inch page and be in 12-point font, single spaced with 1-inch margins. Organize the abstract as follows:

  • Title in capital letters
  • Topic of interest
  • Author names, credentials and affiliations
  • Contact email address
  • Background
  • Purpose
  • Methods
  • Results

Authors may submit more than one abstract.

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent to authors on or before March 27.

  

More information about the virtual conference, including registration and the agenda, will be provided at a later date and time.
