Thank YOU for a Successful 2014!
Another year is drawing to a close, and we at the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation want to thank each and every one of our First Breath and My Baby & Me providers for all the hard work you do. In 2014 alone, over 2,000 women received support & counseling through your help & guidance. Your dedication to helping women make positive changes during their pregnancies is greatly appreciated.
We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and thank you for your commitment to our Perinatal Programs!
First Breath in the News
In late November, Fox 6 News in Milwaukee ran a news story on prematurity being the leading cause of death among infants, and the role that tobacco use has on premature births.
The story interviews different women who have been affected by premature births, and also educates on the factors and mysteries that still exist around this issue.

Electronic Cigarettes
On December 4th, we were fortunate enough to have Ryan Sheahan and Nina Gregerson present a short webinar on Electronic Cigarettes. To view the recording of this presentation, please click this linkFor a copy of the presentation slides, click here.

Also, during the presentation, Nina mentions one of the risks of e-cigarette replacement liquids- they're high toxicity, particularly to children. With much sadness, we wanted to share with you that this past week a child in New York died from consumption of electronic cigarette liquid.
