What's Growing Here?
Community Felting Event

Saturday, September 20, 12-6 pm
Textile Center's Expanded Dye Garden on 4th Street between 29th and 30th
Join us in a foot-stomping, interactive, community felt-making project. Guided by artist Marjorie Fedyszyn, we will dance our way across a pile of wet, soapy wool and use the power of our movement to transform raw fiber into a large piece of finished, felted banner celebrating what's growing here in the Prospect Park neighborhood and along the Green Line light rail. The day will feature a plethora of activities in the neighborhood as part of c4ward: Arts and Culture along the Green Line. Support from Local Initiatives Support Corporation and Springboard for the Arts. The garden has been developed in conjunction with Prospect Park Community Gardens and The Cornerstone Group.

Prospect Park Foray with Sarah Nassif

Begins in Textile Center's lobby
The Other Green Line is a public art experience designed to get people off the Green Line, into businesses and enjoying nature in the neighborhood.
