What's NEW for Summer 2015?
Summer is fast approaching and many parents are making decisions as to the best way for their children to spend their free time during the break from school. It is generally accepted that an excellent choice is to have the kids attend camp. Our Camp Discovery is a good way for children to expand horizons, make friends, and achieve personal growth through age-appropriate acrtivites.
"The benefits of camp are plenty, from life lessons beyond the classroom and the value of playtime to appreciating nature and building confidence and leadership skills."
Many favorite and traditional sessions are offered again for summer 2015, but here are a few of the new choices: What's Your Point? The Art of Public Speaking & Debate for ages 10 & up, Afternoon camp Girl Power - ages 6 - 8 Learn about women and girls who rocked the world! Secrets of the Rainforest - ages 6 - 8 Explore the rainforests of the world through art projects, experiments, music and games. Big Beautiful Art - Ages 11+ Draw, paint or collage to create a large-format original artwork Chemistry in the Kitchen - Ages 9 - 12 Explore chemical reactions while experimenting with familiar items PLUS - all of the digital arts and technology programs offered in cooperation with Black Rocket Productions.
