Because of you, pregnant women in crisis can no longer be quickly coerced into agreeing to complete an abortion, and pregnancy resource centers will have more funds to help women.

Lawmakers overrode Governor Nixon's vetoes of pro-life legislation including one which instituted a requisite 72 hour reflection period between consulting with a physician and commencing with an abortion procedure. 

This vitally important timeframe of 72 hours will protect countless mothers-to-be from making a life-and-death decision for her unborn baby in a desperate moment of panic, confusion, fear, or duress. And increased funding to pregnancy resource centers will provide critical care to the mother and her baby.

Every one of the extra 48 hours is a reason to celebrate today! More women are walking into PRC's and choosing life for their baby!

Now, we must redouble our efforts, as it is expected that Planned Parenthood is preparing its own significant (and well-funded!) challenge to this legislation. 

And they are pouring money into the campaigns of anti-life candidates to defeat pro-life candidates!
