More Than a Feeling:
Writing with Emotion

with Greg Garrett

You have perhaps heard it said: "No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader." And yet, you may also be able to remember times when you have imagined a scene intensely--and yet it just lay there on the page.

In this Saturday morning workshop, you'll learn about moment-by-moment description, five ways writers communicate emotion in prose, and complete a focused writing exercise that teaches how to put those lessons to immediate use.
