More Friends of AceTech Announced!

We are very excited to announce more Friends of AceTech! These are in addition to the roster we announced last month and add even more depth and experience to the program.

Friends of AceTech is a new program that will add significant value to our members. The Friends of AceTech are very senior and experienced professionals in the Technology Ecosystem that can provide insights, advice, networking assistance and mentoring to our members. They will attend our Quarterly Dinners to mix with our members and will also attend up to two roundtables each per year to speak to our members on their areas of expertise.

Please take a look below at our exciting line up of extraordinary supporters and let your roundtable leader know right away if you would like to book one of these people into an upcoming meeting! They will be an excellent resource to our members and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

Jonathan Hamovitch is a senior global human resources leader, with over 35 years of experience in all areas of HR and talent management, and a background in multiple sectors (Technology, Media, Software, Energy, Marketing Services, Consulting and Retail). He leads the Human Resources department at Intelex, focusing on recruiting, building and engaging the best talent in the technology industry. Responsible for both HR management and employee development Jonathan works with the Intelex executive team to encourage and sustain a fun and high performance corporate culture. He is accomplished in all organizational lifecycles - from very large, mature and complex organizations to innovative, creative start-ups, public and private, domestic and international.

Brian Hartlen

Chief Marketing Officer, Blueprint Systems

Areas of Expertise

Brian is a senior marketing executive with over 35 years' experience in the software industry. Previously he held senior marketing roles for various privately held and public software companies including Varicent, Infor, Geac and Comshare. His entire career has been dedicated to bringing enterprise software solutions to the market. He has lived and worked in the UK, US and Canada and can help organizations as they scale internationally. He has lots of experience in working with the analyst and influencer community including such notable firms as Gartner, Forrester and IDC.

As Chief Marketing Officer for Blueprint Systems, Brian is responsible for product management/marketing, communications, analyst relations, branding and demand generation initiatives for Blueprint Systems. He is a top rated industry speaker and co-authored The Strategy Gap in 2003.

Mark MacLeod

Founder, SurePath Capital Partners

Areas of Expertise

Since 1999 Mark MacLeod has been helping fund, grow and exit venture-backed startups. He has over 14 years experience as a CFO for leading companies such as FreshBooks, Shopify, Tungle and many others. He also spent 3 years as a General Partner at Real Ventures, Canada's largest and most active seed stage venture fund, where he led investments in a number of SaaS and e-commerce companies including Unbounce and Frank & Oak.

Mark has raised hundreds of millions in capital from investors in Canada, the US and Asia. In addition he has sold companies to Airbnb, Blackberry, Rackable Systems, Return Path and others.

His deep experience and passion for starups led Mark to found SurePath Capital Partners in order to guide and advise founders on how to fund, grow and ultimately exit their companies.
