If you haven't yet, check out our list of CT Christmas tree farms on buyCTgrown.com

1. Buy a CSA Share for your family for the 2015 growing season. Most CSAs begin accepting members in January. Check out a list of CT CSAs here.

2. Attend the 2015 Bee School; taking place on Thursdays during the month of February at UConn Storrs, click here for more information and to register.

3. Thinking about growing your own veggies next year? Consider attending the  'Getting Started in Organic Farming Conference' on January 24th. Click here for details.

4. Once you've gotten inspiration from the Organic Farming Conference, visit some of CT's seed companies and get a head start on seed starting ideas: Hart's, Comstock, Ferre and New England Seed Co.

5. Visit the alpacas at Stone Bridge Farm as they host Open Farm Weekends during the month of December. While you're in the area, stop by Geer's Family Tree Farm for a CT Christmas tree and visit the Geer's Gift Shop.

Featured Farm - Sepe Farm in Newtown, CT

Three generations of Sepes have raised sheep, but they've gone about it a little differently than most families!  Farmer Pete started raising lambs as a 4-H project in 1960.  When he went off to college, his father took over the flock and developed a business selling sheepskin products.
