Dear (Contact First Name),
Happy Catholic Schools Week! Thank you to all of the students who did a wonderful job at Mass on Saturday. It was nice to see so many families come out and join us for Open House and Mass. Thanks to our PTG for being wonderful Parent Ambassadors at the tables on both campuses. We appreciate your hospitality!
All students who wore their uniforms to Mass on Sunday may wear free dress on Monday, February 2nd. If you already enjoyed your free dress this past Monday, please come to school in full uniform next week.
Staff Appreciation Day--Thank you so much to Lani Shono who coordinated the Appreciation Breakfast and Lunch for the staff. We had lots of goodies from our parents to enjoy and lunch was delicious! Thank you, thank you, wonderful parents!
Parent Appreciation Day--We look forward to welcoming and appreciating YOU this Friday! Please come to the auditorium after you drop off your child/ren to enjoy some breakfast goodies provided by the staff. Our Pre-K and K classes will share a little song at 8:45 AM and parents may visit classes from 9:00 AM-recess. While you are welcome to visit all classes, it is not the time to ask the teacher questions (that is what we hold Open House for!), please just slip in and out of the classrooms so that instruction may continue. We ask that you not use your cellphones in the classrooms or hallways while observing classes as it is distracting to the students. Those were a few of the requests teachers made from their experience last year. Thanks and we hope you enjoy your day! Dismissal is 12:00 PM.
Last Call: Catholic Identity Survey Many thanks to those who have taken the short survey. Below is the link if you would like to take the survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CISurveyParentsStaff When you print out your completed page, please write your name on it and turn it into the office so we can credit you with one service hour and send your child a "Free Dress" pass. Thanks so much for helping us out! The survey will be closed after this Friday.
Daughter Dance
Tickets for the Daughter Dance are sold out. No tickets will be available at the door. For all of those who already purchased tickets, we are looking forward to a wonderful night of dinner, dancing and fun!
Candy Sale
The candy sale begins on Tuesday, February 3rd. Please remember that this is a mandatory fundraiser for our school operating budget. Every family is required to sell two boxes of chocolate. Thank you for your support!
Prayer and Pledge
We love our parents to join us for prayer and pledge, and ask that you stand back from the lines so that a smooth transition to the school day may begin. We want everyone to focus on prayer, not socializing, and for the students to be ready to proceed with their day. Stay with us, pray with us!
Yearbook
Attention all Students, Parents and Staff: Please bring in any photos from this school year that you would like to see in the yearbook. The photos can be submitted on a flash drive, CD or emailed to Ms. Moore at [email protected] or Ms. Martinez at [email protected].

Help Us Make a World of Difference!
The classroom before . . .
The classroom so far! We expanded the size of the classroom by demolishing the closet and plan to replace that space with cabinets for storage and sinks. We have installed new flooring with electrical outlets, plumbing fixtures, whiteboard, a new bulletin board and a fresh coat of paint. We also upgraded our handrails to comply with accessibility requirements. We still need to complete the second phase of our project to purchase and install the cabinets and sinks along the back wall and purchase appropriate classroom furniture and supplies. Please Help Us! Pledge donations for one or two years are still an option
to help us reach our goal of completing our classroom! Please consider making a one-time donation or a pledge which can be paid by monthly check or charged to your credit card. Help us bring St. Leander School's Science Classroom into the future. |
