Archer Daniels Midland CenterFlow Hoppers

On a recent railfan trip, I noticed quite a few ACF CenterFlow 5250m cars still painted in a light blue ADM scheme. Needless to say I thought this car was pretty interesting as it was surrounded by repainted ADMX and leased ACFX more modern hoppers. Upon further research I felt this car was deserving to be modeled.
In HO I found I had on hand most of the items need for the basic kitbash. I used 2 Front Range hoppers and cut them in a manner to get a longer, 55' scale body. One could use the McKean 4 bay hopper and shorten it to match the prototype.
N scalers are fortunate, no need to kitbash. Atlas makes the correct car ready to go. N Scale 55' Four Bay Center Flow Hopper Undecorated part number 3950.
A modeling article is in process detailing the kitbash in HO scale. In progress modeling photos demonstrate the two halves spliced together and roof detailing.
