1) Noosa Yoghurt boasts Aussie culture, Colorado fresh is now certified by the OU. Available at Target, Whole Foods, and Central Market. To view a complete list of certified Kosher flavors, click here.
2) Tito's Handmade Vodka is now certified by the OU. Tito's Handmade Vodka is produced in Austin at Texas' first and oldest legal distillery. It's made in small batches in an old fashioned pot still by Tito himself.

HKA Annual Meeting
On behalf of the Houston Kashruth Association, we are pleased to invite you to attend the HKA 2013 Annual Meeting scheduled Sunday, August 18th at United Orthodox Synagogue at 9.30 AM.
We will hear reports from Ron Moses and Steven Plumb, the current HKA Co-Presidents, as well as Rabbi Wender the Rabbinic Chair, and Alex Pfeffer the Executive Director.
The mission of the HKA is to increase the availability of kosher in Houston. Attendees have a chance to see what the HKA has achieved in the last 12 months and what the plans are for the next year.
We urge you to attend this very important meeting as your ongoing support and input allow the HKA to function effectively.

cRc Kosher Guide 2013 Android App Available
The cRc Kosher Application 2013 is your guide to the list of products recommended by the Chicago Rabbinical Council including Slurpees, Beverages, Starbucks products, Beer/Liquor, Spices and Over-the-Counter Medicines. For fruits and vegetables, the cRc Kosher Guide indicates whether or not the produce is recommended and how to check for insects and infestations. In addition the cRc Kosher app contains the list of kosher symbols and certification agencies recommended by the cRc. Additional features include search, sharing details with others via SMS or email and even "Ask the Rabbi" which you can use to ask for clarification from the cRc on particular items. Recent changes: This application is a replacement for the CRC Kosher Guide application.
