The Hausbeck Pickle Company
The Hausbeck Pickle Company, has been a family-owned and operated business for over 90 years. They recently consolidated their two packing facilities into a single state-of-the-art warehouse and processing plant.
Their cutting edge plant ensures additional capacity as well as manufacturing redundancy, which translates into a reliable supply of the highest quality products and better service for their customers.
The 1920's. A young nation of entrepreneurs was dreaming of opportunities. Charles E. Hausbeck had his own dream. In 1923, at age 35, he opened Hausbeck Pickle for business, and from the start, it was a family affair. Charles, his wife Rose, and their six children built the business together (even the little ones pitched in!).
After Charles' untimely death at age 44, Rose stepped up to the plate and ran the business while raising her family. Her sons served in World War II and the Korean War, then returned to help their mother, brothers and sisters in the pickle factory.
In 1968, the company incorporated, but remained a family business at heart. Charles' sons led the company: John as President, Gerald as 1st Vice President, Charles P. as 2nd Vice President and Richard as Treasurer. Steadily, the company grew. Then in 1980, the Hausbeck earned a contract to sell pickle slices to Burger King. Business took off. The fast food industry expanded, and Hausbeck Pickles with it. Hausbeck is proud to count Burger King as one of its customers today.
The Hausbeck family tradition continues. Charles' grandsons Tim as President, Joe as Vice President (John's boys) will help Hausbeck keep growing
