This prenatal specific Pilates group class is geared for all prenatal woman at any point in their pregnancy.   You will learn Pilates principles, correct posture and learn exercises that are safe and supportive during pregnancy. Focus will be on alignment of poses in exercises, Pilates breath work, and relaxation. Each session builds on the previous week's class, allowing you to absorb and apply what you've learned so that you feel comfortable & safe exercising through your pregnancy. 
 
The group class is small so that the instructor can still cater the class to each woman similar to our private one on one sessions and give modification to each woman as needed. The group prenatal classes will also focuses on balance, building both arm and leg strength while stabilizing the core, back and spine. 

Each week you will gain more confidence in the poses and exercise flow, moving more fluidly, as you begin to strengthen in your Pilates practice.

This 4-week, introductory course will provide a solid foundation of essential yoga postures with a focus on alignment of poses, yogic breath work, and relaxation. Each session builds on the previous week's class, allowing you to absorb and apply what you've learned so that you feel prepared for ongoing yoga classes. Each week you will gain more confidence in the poses, moving more fluidly, as you begin to strengthen in your practice. This course is designed for beginners but also welcomes new students who have never done an introductory course and for seasoned yogi's who would like to refresh their yoga practice with the essentials.


* Learn the fundamental poses necessary to experience a safe yoga practice * Practice proper alignment and breathing to enhance your experience * Learn yogic breath work * Use of props to help achieve ease and strength in poses 

* Learn relaxation and meditation techniques to allow for focus, peace, and serenity!

If you have ever tried to relax or meditate, but had difficulty concentrating or found the exercises were not actually relaxing, you're not alone. You CAN learn to relax. This candle-lit restorative class might be the perfect opportunity to observe your body-mind connection. The poses will all be gentle and some props will be used to help support you!
