Howdy!
We've decided to buck the old standard of spring cleaning and try out fall cleaning instead! (Why should spring have all the fun?!) To free up some space, we're filling up the classroom with HUNDREDS of bolts marked down 50% for an entire week!
This is the sale you've been waiting for if any of the following scenarios apply to you:
- Your Christmas quilts need (or will need) backing.

Running from Monday, September 23rd through Sunday, September 29, the Bolt End Sale is gonna be a big one for fabric steals and prizes. Yup, I said PRIZES! Each and every bolt you finish from the 50%-off stacks will be signed and thrown into a box, entering YOU into a DAILY drawing to WIN A TOTE BAG valued at $50! While we want to encourage our community of arts, the suite is open to all kinds of businesses. Our building is currently the home of a long-arm quilter and cross-stitch/knitting boutique.

If you've always been attracted to crazy quilting, but didn't like the idea of foundation piecing, Creative Grids has solved the problem with a really versatile set of "scrap crazy" templates! They work perfectly with Layer Cakes, 6" pre-cut strip sets, or stash fabric. There will also be a demo on quilt-as-you-go.

I can't remember the last time a technique or tool produced a more varied range of fabulous projects! Come join us while we twist up a great tree skirt that will be ready for THIS holiday season! There's a little bit of sewing to do before class so we can get right to it on in-shop.

Raw-Edge Applique Mosaic Quilts
Join our award-winning friend Barb Cey as she opens up the world of raw-edge applique with any one of six different designs. From the cutest kitty in the world to a majestic horse, samples of your choices are displayed in-shop. Basic quilting and sewing machine knowledge is a requirement.

Raw-Edge Applique Landscape Quilts
Learn all the skills needed to make a beautiful wall hanging from award-winning instructor Barb Cey. Choose from five different designs ranging from a serene farm scene to a frog leaping from a pond. Stop in the shop to see all the pattern choices. Basic quilting and sewing machine knowledge is required.

Invisible Machine Applique
 If you're ready to start a challenging applique project, join us! There's no need to have taken any previous machine applique classes. The first class covers the basics of freezer paper applique and the second introduces some awesome dimensional techniques.

Cathedral Window 
I have tried EVERY method around to make this beautiful block and the new one I discovered at Quilt Market is THE BEST yet. As for your project---either make a pillow consisting of nine blocks or dive into something larger!

Walk out the door with AT LEAST one pillowcase completely finished! All you need is to spend the morning with us and to bring three fabrics. It will have a real cuff and a French seam (which means no raw edges on the inside). Ooh la la!
On a side note, thanks to my grandson, E, for being our pillow model!

Bats in the Rug 
I love making these scrap rugs! It hasn't been since rag quilting was really hot that we could use up scrap batting. To get started, dig up or cut a mess of 2-1/2 inch strips (though Jelly Rolls, Bali Pops, and Tonga Treats also work really well).
