Berta Rojas Sept 1!
|
Greetings!
Our 2013-2014 season kicks off Sept 1, 1:30 Sunday, with Berta Rojas!
This will be the 3rd annual Frank Longay Memorial Concert, underwritten by the Frank Longay Memorial Foundation, which supports music education and scholarships.
Frank enriched the lives of countless students and families with his pioneering achievement of applying the Suzuki Method to guitar. The concert time and format specifically accommodate families, which were important to Frank.
During her last SBGS concert visit, Berta gave a special masterclass at the Longay Conservatory, and performed a work by Byeong Woo Lee, Mother, at Frank's request. I was there and was touched at how much this performance meant to him.
Tickets can be purchased online at sbgs.org.
