PENNSYLVANIA MEDIC STRUCK AT SCENE-KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
We regret to pass on to you that a Paramedic was killed in the Line of Duty while operating at the scene of a crash in Cambria County. It happened along Menoher Boulevard in Upper Yoder Township.
38-year-old West End Ambulance Paramedic Janice Livingston, of Johnstown was working the scene after two earlier crashes when a coal truck came around a curve on an icy road and essentially ran through the crash scene---PM Livingston died of multiple traumatic injuries.
Apparently there were three different crashes, and in the third one, Paramedic Livingston was killed in the Line of Duty when a coal truck slammed into her. We'll post more as it becomes available. Our condolences to all affected. RIP. Take Care. Be Careful. Pass it On., BillyG The Secret List 3/2/2015-1600 Hours www.FireFighterCloseCalls.com |
