TSM News and Notes
Director's Chair

It has been a wonderful semester at Murray State and in the Center for TSM.  We began the semester, in August, by welcoming Annie Vandiver to the Center as our newest team member, replacing Amber Harris who relocated to Lexington, KY with her family.  We wish Amber best of luck in her new career at the University of Kentucky!  The TSM Program marked a significant milestone this year in the creation of its first scholarship endowment, created by our TSM National Advisory Board.

In September, we held our annual AT&T Women in Telecom Golf Day.  October was also a busy month for TSM, hosting the Multi-State Telecommunications Summit with the Kentucky Telecom Association and the Kentucky Public Service Commission.  We also celebrated MSU Homecoming by meeting with alumni to discuss opportunities for TSM and alumni to work more closely together.  Throughout the semester, we were joined on campus by over 400 students from 16 different high schools in our CyberCave.  We hope to see many of these students join us this summer for CyberCave Academy.

We look forward to the upcoming spring semester and all of the exciting activities coming our way.  There are many opportunities for you to get involved in the future and we encourage you to attend this April's Patterns of Distinction Security Matters Conference, update us on employment opportunities within your company, volunteer to be a guest speaker, or even join in the conversation via our social media platforms.  If interested in becoming more involved, please let us know.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Director, Center for TSM
