The Association for Fire Ecology (AFE) invites you to the Sixth International Fire Ecology and Management Congress in San Antonio, Texas, USA, Nov. 16-20 , 2015. This Fire Congress is the sixth in a series that AFE has hosted every third year since 2000.  About our Fire Congress Events:
  • They are largest, most comprehensive meetings on the research and management of wildland fire that are held anywhere in the world.
  • They provide unparalleled exposure to the complexity, breadth, and depth of the field of wildland fire.
  • They provide a respectful, inclusive forum for a diverse range of topics and opinions.
  • They allow participants to share with, learn from, and be inspired by fellow attendees who gather from across the globe.
The theme of the 6th Fire Congress is "Advancing Ecology in Fire Management." We continue to make progress in the development and dissemination of new information. Our challenge is to continue to bridge the ecology of fire with fire management, and facilitate more collaboration among researchers, educators and managers. The opportunity to meet with each other face-to-face in a conference setting is invaluable to meeting this challenge.
