Part-time Adult Program Coordinator Position Available
Northshore Families Helping Families is hiring a passionate individual who believes in the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life to be the Adult Program Coordinator. This individual is responsible for NFHF's iCAN (Inclusive Community Adult Network) program and must provide enriching, fun and informative experiences for adults with disabilities throughout Region 9.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop a variety of activities in the areas of recreation, fitness, social, volunteer and learning
- Coordinate NFHF's Ambassadors in Action Program
- Assist in cultivating friendships between adults with and without disabilities
- Foster self-advocacy skills with adults by encouraging leadership, self-expression and participation in the planning and execution of events
- Facilitate weekly bowling and/or other recreational and fitness activities
- Develop relationships with community partners to support activities
