Upcoming Property Tax Workshops for Taxpayers in LAKE VIEW Township

Nobody wants to pay more in property taxes than they are supposed to.  If the assessed value of your property is too high, you have every right to appeal it.

Lake View Township is currently open for appeals with the Board of Review, and will remain open until September 30, 2013. If you are unsure of which township you live in, you can find it listed on the upper right hand corner of your property tax bill.

To help you in the appeals process, Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Michael Cabonargi and I will be hosting another set of workshops to answer any questions you have and to assist you with filing an appeal on-site.

Event Details are as follows:

When:  Thursday, September 19 at 6:30pm
Where: St. Andrews Auditorium (2nd floor),
3555 N. Hermitage, Chicago, IL 60657

I will be co-sponsoring this event with 47th Ward Alderman Ameya Pawar.

***************

When: Monday, September 23 at 6:30pm
Where: DePaul Student Center, Room 314
