Greetings!
Happy fall to one and all! We hope you had a wonderful summer. Ours was pretty quiet here at Harley, except for a fantastic Reunion celebration with the Class of 1963.
We are especially happy to see the students and faculty roaming the halls again for Harley's 96th year in session. We have a lot planned for the fall, so read on and enjoy this edition of Harley's alumni newsletter.

Class of 1963's 50th Reunion
The class of 1963 celebrated their 50th Reunion on August 23 and 24. We hosted about 1/3 of the class on Friday night at Rochester's Good Luck restaurant and on Saturday they were treated to a tour of the school, including the new Commons building, and lunch. We rounded off the evening with a wonderful boat ride on the Sam Patch in Pittsford.
We are so glad that the class members were able to rekindle friendships, renew appreciation for their Harley education, and celebrate time together at The Harley School.

Upcoming Events
Come to the Symposium on Empathy Education, "Being the Change We Wish to See," on September 21 and 22, hosted by Harley's Center for Mindfulness and Empathy Education. Go to CMEE Symposium for more information about the speakers and event program.
Installation of Ward J. Ghory, Ed.D. on September 22.
If you are going to be in the Rochester area on Sunday, September 22, please plan to join us for the Installation of our thirteenth Head of School. Festivities following the Installation include our delicious back to school tradition, Sundae Sunday.
Reunion Weekend
The official invitation has been mailed. Make plans to come to this year's Reunion celebration on October 11 and 12. Join us for the weekend and meet Harley's thirteenth Head of School, Ward J. Ghory, Ed. D. Celebrate 10 years of the Harley Hospice program and take a tour of the "The Barn"--The Commons. The weekend will start with cocktails at Good Luck restaurant on Friday night and conclude Saturday night with a reception at the School. You won't want to miss it!
Please note that this is a busy weekend in Rochester, so if you are planning to stay at a hotel on your visit, make your reservations soon.
