Did you know youth that participate in 4-H achieve more in school and are nearly two times more likely to go to college?  Not only that, but these young people are far less likely to participate in risk behaviors. Members of 4-H have significantly lower drug, alcohol and tobacco use and are 2.3 times more likely to exercise and be physically active. So what is 4-H and how can you get the children in your life involved? Join us for an open house on Saturday, January 17 from 10-2pm at the Currituck Extension Center in Barco to learn all the details!
