Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne announced today the release of the 2015 wage enhancement funding for early childhood educators and front-line child care professionals.

Members will see that funding for wage enhancement will be made available to eligible child care program staff working in all licensed child care centres employed as of January 1, 2015, as well as licensed Private Home Day Care (PHDC) home visitors and providers, including:

• Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs)
• Program staff
• Supervisors
• Private home day care visitors
• Private home day care providers

OMSSA is seeking clarification on implementation details from the Province.
