Wow! We have had a most auspicious and fruitful first two months and we are happy to share it with you!

It two weeks to make the canvas, and immediately after we began the drawing. Two months later, the drawing is complete! It features 37 figures, including the lineage gurus for the four schools of Buddhism with their disciples, Shakyamuni and his disciples, the 17 Nalanda Masters, HH the 14th Dalia Lama, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Chenrezig and more.
In the next week we will be producing a legend of all the figures and adding it to the website. We will also be making limited sections of the thangka available for sponsorship; should you, your family, or sangha be interested in sponsoring sections, they will be available in square foot blocks. Please email us for the early details! Founding patrons will have their names on the plaque that will tour to museums and also be displayed at the monastery that will be the ultimate home of the thanbhochi.

Classes have begun!
