The Detroit Library of Functional Art (DLFA) is a private lending-library with a collection of 60+ handmade objects available to residents of Oakland, Wayne and Macomb Counties. The DLFA seeks to foster a dialogue within the community about the intimate experiential value of functional art, something that transcends monetary value, and the role that handmade objects can have in enriching everyday experiences.
