Dave Kane is a public speaker, author, and former radio personality. After suffering the loss of his son Nick, the youngest person to pass in the Rhode Island Station Nightclub fire, Dave’s experiences and research have propelled him towards the mission of letting others know about the reality of life after death. He is the author of 41 Signs of Hope, and presents his personal evidence frequently to groups and organizations curious about what happens after we die.
Paul Alexander
Paul Alexander is a singer, songwriter, psychotherapist, author, actor and performing artist who has shared his music and message of hope throughout the United States and Canada. Paul's music has been inspired and enriched through his work as a Psychotherapist and Hospice Social Worker. For over ten years Paul’s bereavement work was in a hospice for terminally ill children journeying with the children and their families through the dying and the grieving processes. His grief work further moved into a private practice and strongly influenced his musical expression. Forever Family Foundation returns to The Guest House in Chester, Connecticut for a Third Time
We all know that coping with the loss of a loved one can be the most difficult task one will ever face. We also know that everyone grieves differently, and the process changes as time progresses. This weekend will not only deal with the challenges of loss and grief, but our professional facilitators will focus on way we can all communicate with deceased loved ones and maintain our relationship with them.
Attendees will be experiencing grief recovery techniques, spirit communication by certified mediums, meditations, altered states of consciousness, mind coherence, musical enlightenment, dream visit enhancement techniques, psychic development exercises and much more.
The weekend will feature small workshops led by known experts in their fields for a more "hands-on" experience, all as we relax in an idyllic private setting featuring our own personal chef preparing healthy and scrumptious meals.
Because everyone's grief is different, the weekend has been created with a variety
of stimulating and meaningful concepts from which all attendees will benefit. Even those who have attended any previous Forever Family Foundation Retreats or Workshops will find this weekend filled with new experiences.

Traveling Alone, but want to save money on your room?
If you are traveling alone, but would like to take advantage of the lower room rate, we are happy to assign you a roommate of the same gender as space and interest permits. We will do our best to accomodate you and notify you when we have a match, but cannot guarantee similar interest from others.
A bit of information about your stay at The Guest House . . .
There are a limited number of rooms available at The Guest House. Retreat centers are different from standard hotels in that they charge per person based on the number of guests in the room. Those guests attending by themselves who wish to take advantage of the lower double or triple occupancy rates will be assigned a roommate of the same gender as space permits. If you wish to specify with whom you will be sharing a room, please send an email to events@foreverfamilyfoundation.org after you have made and paid for your reservations at the retreat. If you are paying by check, simply include a note.
- Every guest room is decorated with attractive, comfortable and functional furnishings, and no two rooms are exactly alike

Betty J. Kovács, PhD
Dr. Betty J. Kovács received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, in Comparative Literature and Theory of Symbolic Language. She has studied and taught in Europe and the United States, and is Professor Emerita, Pasadena City College, Pasadena, California, where she taught literature, writing, mythology and symbolic language for over twenty-five years. She has studied the spiritual traditions of prehistory and indigenous cultures and has worked with shamans from the Amazon and the Andes in Peru. Dr. Kovács is author of The Miracle of Death and "Journey of the Mothers" in Earthwalking Sky Dancers. She co- founded the Kamlak Center in 2002 as a publishing company and a teaching center where they confront the old belief that there is nothing but matter and that death is the end of everything.
