Children's Awareness Month

During the month of June, organizations are encouraged to

"set aside their individual agendas to focus on the bigger picture of children in America today, and what is being done to address their growing challenges and needs". (www.nationalchildawarenessmonth.org)

In Celebration of Children's Awareness Month and Father's Day

Harvest of Hope and Rev. Dr. DeForest B. Soaries Jr., host the
2013 Father's Day Brunch and Silent Auction Fundraiser at
First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens.

The 3rd Annual Father's Day Brunch and Silent Auction to Honor Men Who Have Championed the Cause for Children

I'm pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Jones, CEO and President of Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, will be honored at the Harvest of Hope 3rd Annual Father's Day Brunch and Silent Auction, Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.  In addition to the support given through partnership with the RWJ Pediatric Unit and Mobile Team, Mr. Jones has personally and consistently supportedHarvest of Hope over the years.  More recently he has provided gifts and sponsorship of holiday celebrations for our children and families.

Other honorees include Mr. Robert Barnett (Great father and ongoing Harvest of Hope and FBCLG Supporter), Mr. Nathaniel Moore (Long term Harvest of Hope Resource Parent), and Mr. Shaun Adams (NAACP ACT-SO New Brunswick Chair).  Mr. Barnett has dedicated countless hours to Harvest of Hope and is of constant support and service both to the program and FBCLG.  Mr. Moore can be counted on to take challenging placements and he works very hard with our children to produce the best outcomes.  Mr. Adams has provided relentless support and mentoring to students in the New Brunswick area.

This special event will honor all fathers with a chance to win giveaway items.

Featured auction items will include dinner for six with me and First Lady Donna Soaries, spa and fitness gift certificates, L'Oreal gift products, Delta's Restaurant gift cards, artwork, jewelry and more.

Please remember that families, singles, First Baptist Church and Harvest of Hope Friends of all ages are invited and encouraged to attend. I will be there.  I hope you will be too!
