My Valentine for Your Career
"Work is love made visible."--Kalil Gibran
3 Ways to Love Your Career
      • 1) Soul Search and match your work to who you really are. Embrace who you are and make it your competitive advantage.  If you're an introvert, build your career around your abilities to quietly and thoroughly think before you speak. Others will soon see your style has merit. (Stay tuned for more in my upcoming article for Susan Cain's The Quiet Revolution.)
    •  2) Research and find people and places that are a fit for you. You naturally gravitate to those people and places that feed your soul, match your interests and fit your personality.  If you don't like where you work currently, ask your friends to make an introduction where they work and get yourself into a new environment as quickly as possible.  It will make all the difference in your mood, mindset and performance.  (Learn more about my monthly mastermind program.)
    • 3)*Empower yourself to Job Search and create your ideal career. Once you've Soul Searched to define your ideal job description and Researched to know where it exists, let as many people as possible know what you're looking for.  Don't be a secret.  You'll soon have a team of people seeking you out for all the right opportunities.
