The Woodbridge Municipal Alliance hosted the first annual "Our Night" Festival to celebrate youth and community.

We may be running out of Summer, but we're not running out of entertainment, family fun, and shopping in Woodbridge!!! So come on out and celebrate the "Labor Day" weekend and "Summer Fun" week!!!  Line-up for the starting gun at the 18th Annual Crossroads 10K, 5K & Fun Run on Sun., Sept. 1... "Idol Kings - Tribute to Journey" perform the final Mayor's Summer concert of the season on Fri., Sept. 6... "Jersey Fresh" Farmers Market at Parker Press Park every Wednesday... And, while you're downtown, don't forget our "Buy Local" shopping offers the best buys anywhere... and grab a bite to eat at any one of our Main Street restaurants, deli's and pizzerias... it's the best deal anywhere!!!  It just doesn't get better than that!!! "Idol Kings" Tribute to Journey Closes-Out Summer Concerts on Fri., Sept. 6

The "Idol Kings" tribute to Journey and John Cougar Mellencamp return to the Mayor's Summer Concert stage for the finale performance on Fri.;, Sept. 6 at 7:00 P.M.  "on the grass and under the stars" at Woodbridge High School.  Sansone's Route 1 Auto Mall, Woodbridge Center and ShopRite sponsor the Summer concerts.  Cost of admission... a can, or two, or three of non-perishable food for Woodbridge food banks.  The 2013 Mayor's Summer Concerts were the most successful, well-attended, and "rockin" concerts ever... the Mayor's Summer Concert series returns in July, 2014 with an all-new line-up (along with everyone's favorites)...  See you on Fri., Sept. 6 for the final performance of the season...
18th Annual Crossroads 10K, 5K Race & Fun Run on Sun., Sept. 1

Get Ready... Get Set... Go... Runners of all ages will "hit the streets" for the 18th running of the annual "Crossroads of New Jersey" race set for Sun., Sept. 1... The "Crossroads of New Jersey Race" features a 10K and 5K race... a one-mile "Fun Run & Health Walk"... and Lollipop races for the youngest runners - children up to age ten are invited to run in their respective age groups. The "Crossroads of New Jersey Race" is presented by the Mayor's Wellness Campaign, the Mayor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and The Club at Woodbridge. All race events start and finish at the Municipal Building on Main Street in downtown Woodbridge and will take place rain or shine. Registration gets underway at 7:00 a.m. with the starting gun for the 10K and 5K races at 9:00 a.m. The one-mile "Fun Run & Health Walk" kicks-off at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Lollipop races at 10:45. Not too late to register... forms can be obtained at Woodbridge Town Hall, The Club at Woodbridge, the Woodbridge Community Center, and Runner's High, 454 Main Street in Metuchen. The 2013 New Jersey Senior Olympic games arrive in Woodbridge on Sept. 6, 7 & 8 when Senior athletes from across the state gather to participate in the annual Senior Olympic games.  2013 is the Seventh consecutive year that Woodbridge Township has welcomed the statewide New Jersey Senior Olympic competition - last year, more than 1,000 Senior Olympians from around the state participated in the three-day Olympic competition, which resulted in a significant economic boost for Woodbridge Township and regional retail establishments, restaurants, hotels, and merchants. It's not too late to register...
