Our 2013 Annual Report celebrates the impact of our Foundation on the Diocese of Orange in 2013. It was an historic year for the Orange Catholic Foundation as it marked a year of growth and new beginnings and as we set new records in grants and funded programs.  We look back with heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to the donors who made possible the funding for each of the five For Christ Forever campaign priorities. Click here for an Annual Report Summary and visit our website for the complete document.

The Orange Catholic Foundation belongs to you. We are proud to serve donors whose gifts are both large and small and to share with you all the good news embraced and conveyed in this report.

Jim Tecca, Bishop Vann and Alan Arnold

At their meeting on September 16, the Orange Catholic Foundation Board of Directors elected Alan Arnold as their new chairman. They also elected a new slate of officers including Christian Dubia as Vice Chairman, Arthur Birtcher as Treasurer, and Don Hunsberger as Secretary.

Recognized for their leadership and contributions to the board were two retiring members, Jim Tecca and John McMahon. Jim Tecca has served as the Orange Catholic Foundation's second Chairman of the Board since March of 2011. He joined the board in 2008 and has shared his expertise in the banking and financial services sector along with his deep commitment to our Catholic faith in his role as chairman of the board. As chairman, Jim led the board in managing the very first Diocesan-wide capital campaign, For Christ Forever. Jim also serves as a board member of Christ Catholic Cathedral Corporation.

John McMahon is retiring from the OCF board of directors and as chair of the OCF investment committee. John has served on the OCF board for more than 10 years since March of 2004 and has played a leadership role on the OCF investment committee seeing the permanent assets under management grow from $6.5 million in 15 funds in 2006 to more than $19.6 million in 35+ funds today.  John and his wife Joanne have been generous supporters of Catholic education through the OCF and most notably through their support of our tuition assistance programs for our students at our annual Conference on Business & Ethics.

2014 PSA Incentive & OCF Grants Awards

Father John Moneypenny, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Orange said, "the support received through the Pastoral Services Appeal makes it possible for the 38 men currently studying for the priesthood in one of 7 seminaries to realize their vocations to serve as priests in our Diocese of Orange."

Thank you to all the donors and those who plan to participate in this year's PSA before December 31, 2014 ... and CONGRATULATIONS to our parishes! Click the picture above to see a slideshow of the award presentations.
