Let's Swap!
TPBP will host an ongoing Artist Trading Card (ATC) Swap for our in-store shoppers. ATCs are a fun way to share your art with other artists while also creating a collection of works from other artists.
Here's how the on-going swap will work:
- When you visit the store, let me know that you'd like to swap ATCs and we will, it's that simple!
- We will limit the swap to once a month per person

Dear Friends,
It's so easy for me to get caught up in the daily responsibilities of my business, family and all that comes with living a busy life. This week I reminded myself to take time for me! So of course I spent some quality time to be in the creative zone.
I have two projects in the mix right now. I've been working on a new class and you can see a sneak peak below in the class section of the newsletter. I've also been working on a project just for me and it has been a wonderful distraction. Here's how it looks today:

Fabulous FabMo
If you are looking for inspiration to spark your creativity, you may want to try FabMo. FabMo is a wonderful resource that collects sample fabrics from designers and decorators in the Bay Area, sorts them by size and offers them to the public for free!
In addition to the unique and beautiful fabrics, you will also find carpet samples, tassels, tiles and other odd and assorted materials at FabMo. Their crafting room has additional things for a small fee, including lace, elastic, some yardage, stuffing and odd and assorted goods.
The giveaways are once a month and the next one is scheduled for July 18, 19, 20. Appointment sign-ups to harvest fabrics opens July 11.
The services provided by FabMo helps to keep these products out of our landfills, I encourage you to use them and spread the word.

Classes & Crops
A wonderful customer shared a fun fold with me and I was compelled to use Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells to turn this technique into a class. The class date is TBD, but in the short term, here's sneak peak at the project:

I'm happy to announce that we will be offering our first kids class at TPBP. It will be a sewing class on July 8, 14, 28. Class fee is $25 a session or all three for $60. Students will learn different techniques and make different projects in each class. More details will be posted on our blog within the next few days.
Our next crop is scheduled for Friday, July 5, $5, 5pm - 12am or $10, 10am - 12am. Seating is limited, so please call the store to reserve your spot at the crop table.
