Our Rosh Hashanah Appeal!
Growing Jewish heritage in Ariel

The Shvut Ariel Synagogue started ten years ago struggling to secure a minyan (prayer quorum). Now, services are overflowing, and as High Holidays approach,
Shvut Ariel is blessed with the challenge of a standing room only services, indoors and out. It's time to give Jewish heritage in Ariel the opportunity to grow.

Ariel's Next 36 Years
Following the challenging year, Avi Zimmerman explains how Ariel prepares for a successful future

As we enter the new Hebrew year of 5774, we commence with the 36th year of Ariel's modern history. And we begin to prepare for the next 36 years that lie ahead.

Indeed, the past year was marked with formidable challenges for the City of Ariel. Although we are accustomed to overcoming challenges, the passing of the city's visionary and founder, Mayor Ron Nachman, was a challenge unlike any we had ever faced. How could we continue? Who would be here to pull us through?

Remembering Ron 2013

Ron's High Holiday Messages

Ron loved to send pre-Rosh HaShanah messages to Ariel's friends all over the world. We have collated several of those holiday messages into one website, "Messages from Mayor Ron Nachman." It's amazing how far the city of Ariel has come in the past decades. Here's a glimpse of Ron's High Holidays message in September 2007 on the 30th anniversary of Ariel. May the City of Samaria continue to be blessed with growth.
