"Snoopy's Audition", was created under the artistic direction of animation director, Larry Leichliter. Mr. Leichliter sketched a series of storyboard panels based on the action-packed scene in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" depicting Snoopy's uncanny ability to portray multiple parts in the school's Christmas play. Snoopy completes his audition with his best vulture impression, aggravating Lucy is a bonus!
"Snoopy's Audition" animation cel is hand-inked, hand-painted and is mounted on a gicl�e background print. Created on Arches Velin Museum Rag paper, the gicl�e diptych storyboard sequence is signed by Mr. Leichliter.
Preserving a treasured moment in this Peanuts television debut, "Snoopy's Audition", has been fashioned in the finest tradition of Bill Melendez Productions, Inc.
