I am excited and honored to be addressing you as the President of the Greyhound Club of America. The board and I have sent the first couple of weeks of the January getting things ready to start the new year.

 

The Board got together last week via a video conference call to test out the tech and get to know each other. The conference call was a very effective and efficient meeting method, well - once we escaped some technological difficulties. Each Board member shared some priorities for the club and you can check out a summary of that discussion here on our new blog.

 

In December, the 2013-14 Board contracted to have our old website converted to the WordPress content management system. That conversion is complete and the new website should be easy to update and add to with the new system. This gives us a great starting point and we look forward to hearing ideas and suggestions from the membership. Click here to view the update.

 

Our first official Board meeting is slated for the end of the month and we'll be using our new found video conferencing skills at that time. I'll keep you posted as we move forward.
