Hello Everybody, It's turning out to be a really hot July for me. I have a bevy of shows with new artists as well as with my tried and true longtime collaborators. I'll be playing with the wonderful Paul McDonald Big Band at Santa Monica's Typhoons, backing up stellar saxophonist Reinhold Schwarzwald at LA's premiere Jazz Club, Catalina's. Then, I'll be playing at Laguna Beach's world famous "Pageant Of The Masters" with Jazz Vocalist, Eloise Laws! @USC Summer Guitar Seminar 2013
The 12th Annual USC Summer Guitar Seminar will kick off this Monday July 8th. After I graduated
with a Masters Degree from The USC
Thornton School of Music Studio/Jazz Guitar Department, they hired me back to design
and direct this class. The intensive 4 week
seminar is designed to prepare high school
guitarists for successful college and professional careers. We have a very high success rate of
our graduates matriculating into USC,
as well as other prestigious music programs
such as New York University,
The Berklee School of Music and
The University of Miami.
