SUS/Palladia, Inc. Receives CRF 'Change Capital' Grant  

The Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) has just awarded a total of $1.6 million in change capital grants to support seven Community Resilience Fund (CRF) participants -- including the former Palladia, Inc., which is now fully operating as SUS. The $200,000 grant awarded to Palladia will be used for project management activities related to the merger with SUS. READ MORE
SUS Helps SUNY Maritime College See Spike in Graduation Rate 

SUNY Maritime College 

enlisted SUS' Veterans Services to help improve their Veterans Tugboat Mariner Program, and the collaborative effort has resulted in a 100% graduation rate this year, up from 10% the last year the program was held.

2014 Annual Benefit Raises Record Donations  
SUS ended 2014 with a bang and raised a record $450,000 at our Annual Benefit.

At the dinner, held in New York's legendary Rainbow Room, Peter Magistro and Samantha Magistro of Bronx Pro Real Estate Management (pictured, with SUS CEO Donna Colonna at right), for their company's commitment to developing and building quality affordable housing. READ MORE

Homeless Count 2015

On Monday, January 26th, the NYC Department of Homeless Services will conduct its annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE).  Thousands of volunteers are needed to canvass parks, subways, and other public spaces to estimate the number of people living unsheltered in the city. This vital information is used by outreach teams to help homeless people leave the streets for a better life.
