This is the first record off the press... picked up by Doug at the plant
and kept as a souvenir.... Financed and recorded by Mystic only 1000
were made and two hundred were used for promotion on the radio and fanzines.
For a l ong time we have resisted having auctions..... the reason we are
now ... is raising money... to release more UNKNOWN GROUPS......
We have always been a champion of letting the young voices of America be
heard.... in the 1970's and 1980's we recorded 500 bands... these bands came
to Mystic voluntarily... Mystic never owned a Band... All the music on Mystic
is voluntarily signed to Mystic to promote the bands and hear the voices of
Young America...
The sales raise money to promote other bands. It is getting more costly to put out vinyl and less places to sell it....
WE always made collectable coloured vinyl in limited runs.... but now we shall be
running LPs and in very limited runs.... just like when we started and we sold
to 350 used record stores....
After Fourty gold and platinum records I am dedicating
my energy to the UNKNOWNS and the catalog of Mystic.
