"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." -Galations 5:13
Summer 2013
Youth Worship Teams

Due to recent changes in the staff members at Emmanuel, the youth have stepped up and taken lead of the Worship teams. We are excited about the talent and energy that these youth contribute towards our Worship services, and the dedication they have shown in their preparation for Church, Big Circle, and other times of Worship at Emmanuel.

Tilapia Harvests

The Mountain Park team helped Trey with our most recent Tilapia Harvest. They did everything from getting the fish out of the tank to cleaning and packaging them so they would be ready to cook! We continue to produce meat, milk, eggs and vegetables right here at Emmanuel.
Sewing Classes

With the beginning of our new school year came a new vocational opportunity for the older girls to participate in. Sewing classes given by a local certified teacher take place in the afternoons and are a new addition to the education program here at Emmanuel. 8 girls have participated so far and they have learned everything from sewing on a button to making a shirt. The class graduates at the end of August.

Little Princesses

Karelia and Elisabeth dressed their Small Girls in pretty princess dresses for a fun photo shoot. Every little girl dreams of being a princess and our small girls are no exception! It was fun for the girls to feel like a princess for the day in their pretty dresses, but we know that because of our Father in Heaven, the King of kings, every daughter of Christ is a princess.

Teams and Volunteers

This summer we have welcomed the arrival of many new volunteers and visiting teams. We are thankful for their love for the children and servants hearts as they help to care for the children we have been entrusted with. Thank you to Bethany Baptist Church from Macon, GA, FUMC from Gainesville, GA, Mountain Park from Stone Mountain, GA, and Flintstone Baptist Church from Flintstone, GA.
