SC Works Spartanburg offers WorkKeys Assessments at no cost to general public

South Carolina's Certified Work Ready Communities initiative aims to ensure the growth of South Carolina communities by creating an environment conducive to business and workforce development.

South Carolina's vision is to ensure a ready workforce that serves as an economic development tool to attract and maintain businesses in the state. Its vision is to link education and workforce development together and align with economic development needs of the state, its regions and communities.

Individuals can participate by earning a National Career Readiness Credential Plus (NCRC+). With this credential, individuals seeking employment or interested in changing careers equip themselves with a beneficial marketing tool, one more credential for their resume portfolio. Local businesses are supporting the efforts of the Work Ready Communities Initiative and are beginning to take notice of candidates with WorkKeys credentials.

SC Works Spartanburg provides free WorkKeys testing to the general public. Individuals seeking employment who are interested in taking Workkeys assessments at no cost should contact the local center or visit in person.
