KEEP YOUR BACK HEALTHY WITH HARBOURFRONT CHIROPRACTIC

Do you ever wonder why back pain can come and go with different activity levels? Why you can experience little to no back pain with a certain sport you love, but become debilitated after a weekend of gardening? Let us show you.

We have recently incorporated new technology at H
arbourfront Chiropractic to enhance your understanding of spinal misalignments and how they can affect how your nervous syste

m functions, and therefore your overall level of health.

MYOVISION technology is a non-invasive technique similar to an ECG that measures the electrical activity of your spinal muscles. It is safe for everyone, including pregnant women and children.

Call us today to find out how we can help you have a healthy back this summer.

THE BIG MOVE: METROLINX'S PLAN TO TRANSFORM THE REGION

Getting around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area can be challenging. And it's going to get worse over the next decade as our population increases-unless we act now. Metrolinx has a plan to ensure our roads and public transit systems are able to meet the needs of families, businesses and visitors. The plan is called The Big Move.

Sixteen billion dollars in investment has already been poured into the GTA because of The Big Move. The Union Pearson Express will cut the journey between the airport and downtown, and Union Station Revitalization and the Georgetown South Project will create new capacity to meet rapidly growing customer demand.

These are just a few of over 200 projects currently in progress. The Big Move's next wave of projects - worth $34 billion - will continue Metrolinx's transformation of the transportation system by expanding local transit, roads, walking, cycling, and more.

Visit bigmove.ca to find out more and join us in our plan to keep our region moving forward.

With the love and commitment of professional pizzaiolos, the delicious menu at Pizzaiolo is inspired by three generations of authentic gourmet pizza making.

With great locations throughout the GTA, Pizzaiolo has taken generations of pizza making pride, and brought a taste of Italian history to your dinner table.

With a new location at 3 Rees Street (Rees/Queens Quay) Pizzaiolo has brought its gourmet cooking to the waterfront. Offering nearly twenty slice options, as well as walk-in, delivery and catering services, this gourmet pizzeria is sure to be the right choice whether at home, at work or on the go.

Come to Pizzaiolo, taste the difference that family, tradition and experience can bring!

CONGRATULATIONS NEIL CAMERON!

Thirty years ago, on June 24, 1983, Queen's Quay Terminal opened their doors after the transformation that took it from a warehouse to the award-winning complex it is today.

As they celebrate their an niversary, Neil Cameron, Operations Manager, celebrates a milestone of his own. In 1983, Neil began his career at Queen's Quay Terminal as General Maintenance worker standing on the dirt floor, since converted to terrazzo. Over the years Neil grew to become an Operator, then a Maintenance Supervisor and then in January 2013, because of his unyielding dedication and knowledge, Neil was promoted to Operations Manager.

On behalf of the Management staff and tenants at Queen's Quay Terminal, we congratulate Neil on his most deserving promotion.

SHOP... EAT... AND PLAY LOCAL!

We all live the fast-paced lifestyle, especially in the big cities, but have we forgotten to shop local? And why should we care? In fact, there is much research on this topic, and we picked the TOP 5 reasons why we believe that we should all shop, play and eat local.
shop local - green

1. Shopping local creates jobs.
Shops in our neighbourhood create local employment and self- employment. These people in turn spend in the local community.

2. Local shops sell a wide range of great products at affordable prices.
Many people fall out of the habit of shopping locally and are then surprised by the range of products and unique gifts available.

3. Shopping local saves you money.
When you shop out of your area you add travel time and it results in a higher overall cost.

4. Shopping local retains our distinctiveness.
Independent shops create distinctive shopping experiences and stock different products.

5. Local shops value you more.
Evidence from numerous surveys show people receive better customer care and service locally. These businesses survive by their reputation and repeat business, which means you get a higher standard of service.

Read more about all of these reasons to SHOP LOCALLY here greenupgrader.com.

The Waterfront BIA neighborhood offers grocery stores, convenience stores, dry-cleaners, spas, pet stores, doctors and pharmacies... and don't forget the beautiful retail shops of Queen's Quay Terminal. Together, we are a stronger community, and we encourage everyone living and working here to take advantage of all the services offered by our members.
