Health is beauty. Beauty is ART!

The City of West Hollywood will host "Weho Buff N  Cut!" on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park, 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard. "Buff N Cut!" is a daylong health and fitness expo devoted to exploring active lifestyle options for local residents. For more info, visit here

The City of West Hollywood presents Trouble in Chiozza by Carlo Goldoni with translation by Robert Hoyem, directed by Louis Fantasia. Set in a rustic Italian fishing village, this rollicking romp is about two rival families with daughters of marrying age and the young fishermen who come to court them.  Admission free. The Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) will be headlined by LINKIN PARK on August 3rd on famed Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. The Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum California rock band and SSMF are partnering to create a unique festival experience that will let attendees "rock for a cause" with a significant portion of ticket sales to benefit Music For Relief, the nonprofit organization LINKIN PARK founded to support disaster relief, provide aid to survivors of natural disasters and support the prevention of such disasters via environmental programs. For more information, click here.

ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives Seeking Submissions for Film Festival

ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives is seeking submissions of short films and videos for inclusion in the 4th annual ONE Queer Film Fest. The program will celebrate the rich history and culture of the LGBTQ community with a special focus on showcasing works by contemporary filmmakers alongside historical films and footage from the archives.We welcome submissions of short films and videos up to approximately 15 minutes in length on a wide range of topics pertaining to the LGBTQ experience. Submissions should be accompanied by a short explanation of the work. Please send all submissions to Tom De Simone at [email protected] by Friday, August 16, 2013.
